  24. This is directed mainly at the previous previous post :).  I was 
  25. playing the DOS version of MW2 and decided to try out a friend's
  26. win95 version since it uses direct draw, just to get an idea how it
  27. ran.  The win95 version was much smoother in 640x480 than the
  28. DOS version on my machine, probably because it actually uses the
  29. accelerator chip on my diamond stealth (even with the crappy generic
  30. s3 drivers I have to use for now), whereas the DOS version doesn't.

  32. To paraphrase John Carmack, I hope win 95 takes over the world, 
  33. because it's going to be a kick-ass gaming platform if it does!
